Get a node

GET
/content/management/v1/experience/nodes/{id}
curl --request GET \
--url https://api.ebitex.io/content/management/v1/experience/nodes/2489E9AD-2EE2-8E00-8EC9-32D5F69181C0 \
--header 'Authorization: Bearer <token>'

Returns one node in the authoring environment: a site root or any page beneath it.

  • slug is { "default": "about-us", "locales": { "fr": "a-propos" } }, or null on a site root. path is the node’s address computed from its ancestors’ slugs.
  • payloadKind is presentation (a page; the envelope is in presentationPayload), redirect (with redirectTargetNodeId), or null for a node with nothing to serve.
  • effectiveAllowedTemplateIds is the Template restriction that applies here, inherited from the nearest node that sets one, or null for none.
  • publishStatus is draft, published, modified or unpublished.
  • rowVersion is the value to send back on an update or move to detect a concurrent edit.
  • excludeFromSitemap is the node’s own setting; sitemapExcludedByAncestor names the ancestor that excludes it, if any.

The key acts as its role, so branch access rules apply: a node the role cannot view answers 404, and one it can view but not change answers 403 access_denied.

Key: a management key with content.management.read.
